Who we are
Bringing civil society together for social protection
The CIVIL SOCIETY SOCIAL PROTECTION NETWORK (CSSPN) is a network of civil society and community-based organisations championing social protection advocacy in Malawi to reduce vulnerability and poverty.
Established in 2022, we bring civil society together to make sure social protection is well-funded, well-governed and reaches every community.

Social Accountability
We promote transparency and accountability in how social protection is delivered — through community monitoring, scorecards and budget tracking.

What we've achieved together
- Improved coordination with government and stakeholders on social protection.
- Trained 12 Fisheries VSL groups on social protection.
- Trained District Social Protection Committees in 15 district councils.
